"Antique Rose" Glasses Case
History
This needlepoint glasses case is inspired by the delicate floral compositions that once adorned embroidery works and everyday objects. At the center of the design, an old rose in warm hues blossoms, surrounded by a fine botanical garland punctuated with small flowers, in a design that is both refined and timeless.
The vertical composition highlights the elegance of the flower, while shades of powder pink, deep red, soft green, and discreet blue create a harmonious and gentle ensemble. Inspired by antique herbariums and traditional embroideries, this model evokes the charm of precious objects passed down from generation to generation.
Printed and then delicately hand-retouched, this canvas combines design precision, embroidery comfort, and richness of shades. Every detail of the rose and foliage gradually reveals itself stitch by stitch, offering a piece that is as pleasant to create as it is to admire.
