After three weeks of traveling around France, I am excited to be home and will be enjoying stitching my lovely canvas and threads! My short visit to Annie Bouquet was everything I hoped and more. It was a pleasure to meet Annie's grandson who was so helpful and insisted I take the lovely box (flat so it would go in my suitcase) and bag he designed (he also designs their website)! I even got a wave from his mom who was painting canvases in the back! My first stop after touchdown in Paris was at Annie's and I wish I had had more time to spend there and thought to get a picture with them!

I just received my new french canvas from Annie Bouquet in Paris, France. It was just beautiful and the wool to sew with was gorgeous. The package was exquisitely wrapped. This really made my day and I look forward to visiting the store in Paris and purchasing more items in the future.
Ooh la la! Annie Bouquet is an artist extraordinaire whose canvas is needlepoint. In this era of machine-printed canvases, Annie still creates everything by hand-painting. Check out her website to see her painting. canvases. I’ve had the privilege of visiting her atelier in Paris. A family-owned and operated small business. Her canvases are top quality. Her thread is custom-dyed by Aubusson Wool, probably the finest embroidery wool available. I love stitching her canvases. I’d love to paint them all. I can give no higher recommendation than this. Hats off to Annie Bouquet; she deserves a five-star Michelin review.
