The donkey from the Nativity scene, a humble companion of the birth of Christ, symbolizes patience and simplicity at the heart of this sacred scene.

The kit includes: printed canvas, fine "La Royale" wool from Aubusson for the design and background, metallic threads, finishing felt, gold cord, needles, stitch instructions, as well as a color-coded counted cross-stitch chart to make tracking and stitching easier.

The pattern is precisely printed onto the canvas weave, then checked and hand-touched in our workshop. Each color is thus perfectly positioned to provide a sharp design, faithful to the original and intuitive to embroider, stitch by stitch.
