The monkey, sitting cross-legged, holds the trumpet with mischievous curiosity. His nimble fingers brush against the valves, hesitant at first, then confident, seeking to unravel their mystery. He blows, and the instrument spits out a vibrant note that makes him jump before a guttural laugh escapes his throat. Intrigued, he tries again, his cheeks puffing out in a comical effort, while the trumpet responds with sounds sometimes brilliant, sometimes dissonant. Around him, the air seems to ripple beneath the metallic glint of the brass, and from this chance discovery is born a form of wild and free music.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE
Each canvas is hand-painted by Annie and Mylène in our Paris workshop. Mother and daughter continue a savoir-faire passed down since 1978, blending precision, intuition, and love for detail. No two canvases are alike — each is one-of-a-kind.
Our wools are dyed in Aubusson, exclusively for Annie Bouquet. Vibrant, one-of-a-kind colors designed to complement every detail of the artwork.
Hand painting, high-quality wools, and fine canvas make stitching easier and ensure an exceptional finished tapestry, refined, long-lasting, and a pleasure to stitch.
Our workshop assists you every step of the way: wool refills, personalized guidance, worldwide shipping, and private visits to our Paris atelier.
