At Chambord, the Salamander, emblem of François 1er, embodies a profound symbolic power. Topped with a crown bearing the motto Nutrisco et Extinguo , it illustrates the qualities of the one who, while feeding the good fire, extinguishes the bad. This embroidery captures the essence of this royal emblem and magnifies the spirit of François 1er, a king both powerful and wise, whose emblem spans the centuries with majesty.

The kit includes: hand-painted canvas, fine Aubusson “la royale” wool for the design and background, needle and stitch instructions.
