History

Inspired by the famous Bayeux Tapestry, this creation retraces the conquest of England by the Duke of Normandy in 1066. Longships sailing the waves, long epic rides, shields and chainmail intertwine with fantastical animals and battle scenes. An ode to history and the courage of a legendary conqueror.

The border is to be made in counted stitch using the provided chart, which allows you to complete the design with precision and freedom. The kit includes: hand-painted canvas, fine Aubusson "la royale" wool for the design and background, needle and stitch instructions.
