Inspired by the famous Bayeux Tapestry, this creation recounts the conquest of England by the Duke of Normandy in 1066. Longships sailing the waves, epic horseback rides, shields and chainmail intertwine with fantastical animals and battle scenes. An ode to history and the courage of a legendary conqueror.

The border is worked in counted cross stitch using the provided chart, allowing you to complete the design with precision and freedom. The kit includes: a hand-painted canvas, fine "La Royale" Aubusson wool for the design and background, a needle, and stitch instructions.

Love the beautiful face on the chicken!! Canvas is well done and beautiful and all arrived fast.
