The picker
Product Details
From the new series inspired by the Monkey Business at the Château de Chantilly, this scene depicts a monkey perched on a branch, completely focused on its action. Its body leans slightly forward as it extends its arm to pick a piece of fruit, in a simple, almost instinctive movement.
Nothing is theatrical. Everything lies in the perfect timing. The pose evokes patience and skill, as if suspended between balance and desire. The supple foliage gently frames the scene, its muted tones blending naturally into the background.
The kit includes
Hand-painted canvas, fine Aubusson Royale wool for the design and background, needle and stitch instructions.
Dimensions
Drawing dimensions: 35cm x 35cm
Canvas dimensions: 50cm x 50cm
Antique Monofilament: 16 points/inch (16 mesh)
Realization
Hand-painted, the motif is gradually revealed stitch by stitch. The calm and measured composition allows the design to breathe, offering a contemplative embroidery, faithful to the decorative spirit of the 18th century, where the animal becomes a delicate subject, observed with tenderness and elegance.
Finish and use
Once the embroidery is completed, it can be framed or transformed into a cushion, bringing a refined and historical touch to your interior.
