The monkey, standing, hammers the drum with raw energy, his body vibrating to the rhythm of each strike. His arms spring and fall in rhythm, driven by instinctive precision, while his feet follow the beat, as if driven by an invisible force. His gaze, lively and inhabited, follows the resonating sound, spreading through the air like a distant call. Sometimes he slows down, brushing the taut skin with his fingertips, then takes off again in a frenetic explosion. Between play and trance, he strikes, dances, lives, free in the primal pulse of the drum.
